Thetford toilets are a fully self-contained toilet system that can be built into the bathroom of caravans, motorhomes, narrow boats or any type of recreational vehicle. A Thetford cassette toilet is constructed of high quality plastic and consists of two sections, a permanently installed toilet system and a slide out waste holding tank located within the toilet. This is removed for emptying from outside the vehicle through a small service hatch. A unique rotating pour-out spout and vent button ensure splash-free emptying.

The Thetford C402 (C400 series) bench toilet is available with left hand and right hand side access to the cassette from outside of the vehicle. Please choose the option of the required cassette access side.

For new installations, we recommend purchasing an optional locker door to securely access your cassette from outside the vehicle for clean and hassle free emptying.

Thetford C-402 Cassette Toilet.

Looks good and nice to use. Only problem was the door to extract the cassette from the van is more like a door with a hole. Not sure why the door lid is not made to close off the cassette and stop water getting in to the van if it rains. I am sure the picture that I saw had a normal closing door.
