Unbelievably poor service

After ordering a $3014 item and receiving an order confirmation but no tracking number .
After a week I rang and emailed asking for a tracking number but no response, at this point feeling like I have been scammed i rang again asking for a tracking number . To be told he would contact his supplier following this conversation a few days later I had to ring back to find out the result.
To which I was told the supplier sent it BUT STILL NO TRACKING NUMBER.
I waited another week and rang back again asking for a tracking number and told her would contact supplier and get one, and no surprise again no return call the next day I rang back again as xmas was getting close but no reply the phone was actually turned off
It's not now been 20 days and I am still none the wiser weather this item is on its way or I have been scammed out of $3000
